![]() You’ll decide who Grace allies with, who she can trust, and who may betray her in this beautifully hand-illustrated roleplaying musical. This entire team goes from strength to strength and I'm so proud to be a part of it.In a modern fantasy world, college dropout Grace is granted the power of a Muse - power she’ll need to find out the truth behind her predecessor’s death before time runs out. Now someone just like me might do the same and hear about the game we created. I used to stand and hear about the winners in our morning stand-upesque catch ups in the store, holding an iPad ready for a work day. To win an Apple Design Award at all in a career is a milestone I never even dreamed I would be a part of. We knew the value of art in peoples lives. From day one, everyone was committed to making a game that was as accessible as possible, that made people feel seen - we as a very diverse team knew how important that was. In the past it's been a real fight to get people to pay attention to inclusivity and diversity in teams I've worked on - this couldn't be further from the case in the Aconite team and it shows. I used to work at Apple a number of years ago and it was incredibly formative for me as a creative thinker and people person, and is a huge part of how I lead teams and collaborate today, so it is triply special to me. Almost a week and a half later and I'm still floored that Aconite won an Apple Design Award for inclusivity.
